What is Acupuncture suitable for?

Mindfulness based acupuncture Mindfulness plays a significant part in the practise of acupuncture. For example, when you come to see Quintus he will take a detailed case history and look at your tongue and feel your pulse but also to seek determine what is happening in the present, the here and now, in what happens between you, Quintus and your healing process.

Often healing occurs when your awareness is brought into focus on what is wrong. This is done in an attentive, non-judgemental way. As well as taking the pulse, looking at the tongue, hearing about what is going on for you and what conditions you would like to be treated you will also be invited to explore how what needs attention is in the present moment.

Mindfulness can bring the healing process much more into the foreground of your experience and can be a very effective aspect to the healing process. This also means that because you are more aware of what is going on in your sessions, you will enjoy them more, one key factor of coming to see Quintus is that you will be encouraged to enjoy the process of healing.

Your sessions will probably seem just the same as any visit to any complementary health practitioner, the big difference is that your attention will be brought closer to why you have come for acupuncture: good health and wellness.

People will come with various problems. If you would like to discuss this with Quintus before embarking on a course of treatment you can contact him as follows:
